Did a quick run

05 6mt Sedan vs 04 AT coupe

Being stick shift, I had the coupe off the line, after first gear he pulled on me. By the time we were doing 90mph I shifted into 4th and pulled half a car length. This was about a .4 ~ mile long race and we hit about 120. My excuses for not beating the coupe harder are, I had a passenger, full tank of gas, and I never launched the car before this, and I forgot it had a limited slip and I dont know even know how to launch a car with an lsd. So the sedan came out on top. I also only have 1,300 miles on my car, I guess with time it should break in, I wanted to wait longer to do this, but oh well, it was perfect timing.

What rpm did you shift each gear at? Honestly probably not a good idea you run your car that hard until after first oil change.

The driver of the coupe prolly didnt know how do drive, the 04's have a few less HP too. Good job though!

Well he braked and held the RPMs at about 2000 then launched on green. I launched at about 5000 because I couldn't feel the back wheels slipping and it through me off. If anything the coupe had a better start. I shifted about 6800-7000 on each gear. I also had my oil changed today and that was the first time I took it over 6000rpm. Given the added weight of the 05 (100lbs) and the passenger (160lbs) and full tank of fuel, I'd say this car held its ground
