Going to get an HR Y-pipe and a 350Z midpipe about two hours away from here, but I don't have a second vehicle handy and I don't have a roof-rack. Will those parts fit inside my sedan for transporting?

The midpipe will for sure if you utilize the trap door that leads to the trunk. As for the y pipe that depends on if you can stack the pipes so they both poke thru the opening.

Yeah, but the back seat in the sedan doesn't fold down.

I'm assuming somebody has transported a Y-pipe and mid inside a sedan.

It's just the rainy season here and a two hour drive with a window down or the trunk partially open doesn't appeal.

They'll both fit no problem, just put them both through the trap door as suggested.

^^ Where I come from, we call it a ski pass-through.

Yeah, I've packed and entire Z exhaust plus air intakes in my sedan.

easily..you can lay your passenger seat back and lay it down without even using your trunk

That's fine unless the passenger objects.

Anyway, FYI the stock mid doesn't fit. The resonator is too wide to fit through the trap-door; the pipe had to be carefully layed transversely across the rear seats.
