Whining humming sounds

So...about a year and a half ago...I took my car to the dealership for this exact problem...they claimed it was the PS pump. So I had them replace it.

I never bother to check or listen for the noise afterwards...when the weather got warmer I had the windows rolled down a lot and started to hear the sound again....

WTH....

Hey everyone I had a complete tune up done just to clarify. They replaced all my belts, both rear bearings, oil change, spark plugs, alignment etc. so I'm assuming a combination of all those things resolved the issue. It was the 105,000 mile maintenance. Hope this helps

I change my oil and the noise went away..my car drinks oil so maybe it was a little low

I had the same noise... checked belts, tensioner etc....I put the car up ad it was coming from the Nissan oil filter?!!

Changed the oil and filter and it is gone... Hope this helps.
