DTC P1168 and P0051

ok ppl

I just installed some Kinetix HFCs and ended up with a DTC P1168 and pending P0051

I did my reasearch and its for the O2 Sensor Bank 2 on Cylinder 2 side...I also have done the pedal reset as well as erased the codes with a code reader

my question is

Is it really my O2 sensor? I never had an issue with O2 sensor before the install

could I just continue driving "spirited" and the ECU will "re learn"?

any input is appredciated to help point me in the right direction

cheers

I have this same problem! Ecu will relearn so the CEL will come back on, give it around 250-300 miles. I have done the Ecu reset a couple times now and i would love to fix this problem permanently. From everything that i have read, it is the O2 sensor. Many people have recommended that I either get a tune so that the Ecu knows the HFC is on there or just to mess around with the sensor, basically tricking the sensor. Anyways, keep me posted on what you do. i need to fix this on my G as well...

Took it to a shop to get it tested and turns out the HFC was bad. I originally thought it was the O2 sensor. Just replaced the HFC that was under warranty and everything works perfectly now.
