so the thing under my bumper that holds the license plate lights up rusted out on one side and now the other light is tucked behind which only leaves one shining.. what is that metal piece called so I can order it or whatever solutions you guys may have! I'm due for inspection sticker next month!!!

 

license plate bulb bracket? possibly? That happen to a friend of mines G, only thing is he hasn't fixed it yet

Are you kidding on that price? $50 for a small piece of metal? Is it made out of gold.

Have the same problem. The piece rusted out and now the light falls out.... But $50 for a replacement is a little too much for a part that should cost no more than $6.00

 

Try looking at your local junkyard. Mine rusted out awhile ago and the place just gave it to me for free, its a better alternative than spending a substantial amount of money buying it brand new

 

Mine rust and i used electric tape to hold it together. Its hidden so who cares. $50 is alot.

 

55$ shipped is a good price, my local Nissan dealer called the nearest Infiniti dealer, and it would cost me about 75$ and I had to pay before he orders it... I passed and will make a bracket myself..

 

I just eliminated the stock plate lights and bracket, then wired in a 12 inch led self adhesive light strip, works great. More than enough light to satisfy those really bored poli e officers who like to give you a hard time.
