Saying Goodbye

It was about that time that I need to trade up. My 2004 Infiniti was a great car it was just that time to get me something new. she took me to 130k plus miles and im sure it could have been 100k more. Saying good bye to my Infiniti

The IS-F is a really nice car! I don't normally hate on Infiniti's but I've gotta say that's an upgrade forsure, grats!

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Congrats on the new addition to your family but I've gotta ask, does the 2012 still have the fake quad exhaust tip set up where one tip on each side is closed?

Thanks guys yea it is a big difference driving this car. I think the way the stock exhaust works its set up like the stock exhaust on the g35. Yes the tips are just there but the stock muffler does have to outlets coming out.

So far I love the car the fact that it is V8 powered and still gets better games mileage then my g35. Thats just a plus getting good gas mileage was never a reason to get the IS-F I only drive 6 miles round trip to my office. 1 huge plus to me about the IS-F is that you dont see theses car that frequent. I live in Houston and since this car came out in 08 I have only seen a hand full of them riding around. I miss the space that the G had bigger cabin space and bigger trunk space. Its just me in my car during the week and on weekends if I do drive it its just my Fiance and I so thats no big deal.

Nice, yup i dont see a lot of ISF's in general either (because they aren't cheap to begin with compared to the numerous IS 250's and 350's out there). I think there more GS's out there than the ISF too.

Hows the drive and road noise? Does the car feel heavier than the G?
The G i find is quite raw, is the ISF equally raw like that or a bit more tame?

yes the IS-F is very limited and that was the biggest plus that I like about the car. I feel that my car is a wolf hiding in sheep's cloths. As far as the way it drives road noise is nothing to worry about and the car does feel a little heavier but it also may be from not being completely use to the car just yet. When the secondaries open up the car is a beast and it has a sport mode that changes the shift points 8 speed tranny.

yeah defintely a sleeper and most people will think its just an IS. i like being the underdog too. 8 speed, wow. hope the q50 gets 8 speed as that is fast becoming the status quo.
congrats again

You should make those big calipers stand out. Give them some color

I'm planning to get PPE headers and joe-z exhaust when i come back from vacation next month. Maybe ISS forged exhaust instead of joe-z if i can find one. Exterior will be saved for next year. What about you?
