Curious.....
Anyone that has purchased an '05,
did you get the extended brake warrantee,
or did it get droped with the new brakes?
It'll be interesting to see how the '05 brakes standup as compared to the '03 & '04.
Wondering if they would be good after warrantee replacements when the time comes.

Unless the '05's have the same issue, I doubt the warranty will apply. One would assume that Nissan rectified the issue for '05 owners, but that remains to be seen.
I'm sure that if the problem extends to the '05's, Nissan will include them.

came out after the coverage change.
My dealer just informed me it was part of the new car warrantee now.

That's cool if they did step up like that. Kudos to them.
Brain V.. My guess would be that because you have a 6M/T Sedan, may be that they are not included. I can't remember now if the 6M/T's in the Sedan were out when they sent the extended warranyty notice around.
A quick call either to your dealer or to NNA would clarify.

It'll be interesting to follow the new brakes & see how they
do in comparison.
I'm sure well get some feedback soon about dust.
BrainV, I have a 6mt and the dealer did inform me about the extended warranty when I bought the car. In fact, there is a notice as part of the owner manual/contracts pouch that the sales gave to me when I picked up the car.

2005 brakes - first look
I've had one of the 2005s for about a month. Last week, I had to take it in for a day of warranty work and received a 2004 loaner. The difference in the 2004 v. 2005 brakes is night and day. The 2005 are responsive but seem more true to the touch and don't seem to generate a ton of brake dust. I couldn't TOUCH the 2004 brakes light enough, they were way to grabby. Just another reason to spring for the 2005.
