There is a 2 stage HID system has built in halogen as well.

 

 

Ah I see. U got the bixenon one. Supposedly u lose high beam functionality. Cus the bulb isn't bright enough. Is that true?

 

Truth is you do lose that function, but flick the HID ON and why bother grabbing the high beam... now if you point the hid in a manner that does NOT hurt the drivers heading in the opposite direction would work best. I pointed the regular hids normally, and dropped the high beam (HID) down so it does not harm the drivers, thus causing the HIGH beam to drop as a FOG LAMP style light. I truly wish they made the halogen as a 3k or fog style color it would work fantastic in the rare foggy Miami, FL nights. Other than that Zero complaints works flawlessly and I can see very well. I'll find a pic and post it.
