Wndow GO UP and 4" DOWN Problem

I got the car back from a door replacement on my driver's side passenger door after a hit and run. Now I took the windows down and immediately noted that I have the stupid auto-up the window and it automatically comes down 4" problem on BOTH the FRONT driver's side and the REAR Driver's side windows.

The REARS are FINE!

This is puzzeling. I tried every reset procedure to get this to wortk and have failed miserably.

Is my master switch bad?

Don't do auto-up. does it still go down when you hold button to put up?

Mine does the same thing on the driver's side only. Dealer told me it was because of tint. This is only on auto-up, holding the button to put up is fine.

So when I do a manual up and hold it for 7 sec. The window will not go down immediately. As if the window does not want to "learn", I have tint on all windows and this is only happening on the drivers side front and back where the door was replaced.

The window motors need to be retimed. Pretty common problem. The fix it to remove a door panel, hold the reset button while proceeding with a serious of window raining and lowering to retire the window stop points. Takes 10 mins to do.
