Ordered my 05' 6MT today....

After two weeks of working the dealer and researching I finally bit the bullet tonight. Lakeshore Slate with a Graphite interior. Taking delivery in June, when my current lease expires.

What is everyone doing for tint? I'm thinking I'm going to go easy 25% all-around.

Congrats

I take it from your Slate/Graphite combo that you are in Canada? I wish I could have ordered that combo, but it's not offered in the US Settled on Diamond graphite with graphite

Yep! I haven't seen the combo but I can only imagine it will be hot.

Why in the world would it only be available in Canada? Doesn't seem to make sense.

my thoughts exactly!

I still don't get it... in the US, you can only get the graphite interior in Silver, Diamond GRaphite, Garnett Fire, and of course Obsidian Black. Lakeshore slate is definitely my fav exterior, but I thought if I am going to be driving the car, I need to really like the interior, and the graphite was the only interior that did it for me!

But no, I can't begin to imagine why they couldn't put graphite in Lakeshore Slate I could even "Deal" with having kilometers be big, and mph be small on the speedometer... I think the other difference between the CA car and the US car is the CA car has a spot on the front right bumper for the engine block heater...

There are no options in Canada. Just navigation, which I didn't want, I know where I'm going.

Did you pick up the Z-tube at your local Nissan dealer? Trying to find the cheapest option here in Canada.

No Jeff, I bought mine used from another member on the site locally. If you can get a used one that is the way to go, they don't wear out and to buy one new from a Canadian dealer you will pay $170-$200 C. You can purchase them in the US for $75 US, but then you pay shipping, handling, and brokerage fees. You have lots of time before your car arrives in June, and they also come up on ebay. Check the classifieds on this site and other sites or advertise in the classifieds that you want one.

jeff... in addition to what gee35x has said, i'd try other nissan forums (like www.my350z.com) as well. i've read about a lot of them going with aftermarket intakes as soon as or shortly after they get their car and looking to sell their stock tube to eager g35ers. good luck.
