Replacing G-Sensor in '04 G35 Sedan MT

So the ABS, Slip, and VDC Off lights all came on the other day, took my '04 G35 Sedan MT to the dealership and they said it was the G-Sensor, part # 47931-AL70A, that needed to be replaced. They wanted $922 for the sensor, so I decided not to go through them and just replace it myself.

First off, the cheapest I found the part online was for about $590 (http://www.infinitipartsonline.com/o...iti/47931al70a), is there somewhere else I might find it cheaper?

Second, I searched the old threads on this topic and found a mention of the sensor in an '03 sedan being under the arm rest. Can anyone confirm where the part is located on the '04 MT sedan?

Many thanks!

Have you tried Ebay? I've seen them pop up from time to time for MUCH less.

Maybe even see if anyone is parting out a G35 locally or on forums? OR check junkyards? Hate to say it but a lot of these cars are now starting to reach the level where they are more valuable in parts vs a running car.

Yeah true that, I've had a lot of sensors and random things go out on me recently, sad to think she's 10 years old already. Didn't have any luck on ebay, but I might see if someone's parting one out. I don't mind paying a bit extra for a new one if I can save time and avoid the hassle, but $922 is just crazy.

Anyone want to chime in on the sensor location? Everything I've read seems to point to the center console.

I'm pretty confident they located the sensor near the center of the car...so in the center console region.

Im a bit late to the party bit this is what the G sensor looks like:
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...need-help.html

I got it for $75 used out of a coupe

Also search car-part.com and there tonnes of listings there selling the part.
