Small vibration while in Idle. Normal?

2003 160,000 miles

So when my car is on idle it hovers around 600-650 RPM. But I am noticing a weird vibration coming from engine bay. Its not a consistent vibration. Its more like a 1-2 thump type vibration every 1-2 seconds.

It is really hard to explain. Its not noticeable at all if you're not paying attention to it.

Fuel dampener?

It is a common problem. Sounds like a semi-rythmic knocking.

Correct, but not knocking more like a thud.

I wonder if you have what I just recently started to experience. It almost sounds like a bad fan running at idle. When you lightly press the gas does the sound speed up with acceleration? Also does it do right after a cold start or more when the car warms up? Also if you put your ear by the front tires is it much more noticeable? That is what I have been experiencing and I have no clue what it is but would love to find out! If the radio is on you will probably never hear it but when just sitting quiet in the car you barely hear it and standing outside the car you don't hear it either unless you put your ear by the front wheel wells. For me it seems like the car has to run a bit before I hear it after a cold start.

Going to test these out later.
