Just made the A/C in my new G35 the coldest I've ever felt.

That is good advice. I need to stock up on something before it goes illegal.

Could be worse, the first "refrigerated air systems" used in meat coolers and air conditioning in early hotels had Ammonia as a refrigerant. Not pleasant when it leaks.

After doing some research about warm air from the A/C at idle I came across this thread and decided it would be an inexpensive fix. I was already planning to install a used Nismo bumper for my 03 sedan and changing out the fan motor would be ideal. Everything went together nicely and the A/C has been working a lot better. However, after a long drive and coming back into town with stop and go traffic with A/C on my temperature gauge notched up slight. I would say it got up to 70% not quite 3/4. A/C came off and temperature came back down. It has done this a few times already but only after a long drive. Would anyone like to share their thoughts on what might be the issue. Thanks for your time.

How are the electric fans doing? My electric fans are loud as hell, and you can hear them kick on when it's hot, the AC is on, and the car is in stop and go traffic. You may be down one fan (there are two), so check to make sure both are spinning.

Either your fans aren't working, or your cooling system is weak.

After checking both fans turn on. I never had a problem before with engine temperature while my AC blew warm and now its the opposite. I have cold air but a slight engine temp issue from time to time. Go figure.

Did you replace a fan? Make sure they're both spinning at the same speed. The bad one on the a/c side of my car would spin sometimes, but it would spin a little slower than the other fan. I could push the blades with a stick and make it spin back up, so I'm guessing it was going out intermittently while I was on the road and causing my car to overheat.

I replaced the fan motor. The fan control module, would that be the climate control panel on the center dash? I've had that refurbished when I was experiencing random radio/climate control issues. I may just put the old fan motor back on since I wasn't experiencing overheating issues with it.

No, I think it's under the hood. I don't remember.
