Car not starting after a short
Car not starting after a short
I have an 2007 infiniti g35 sedan after installing my Weapon R intake at night bad idea. Everything was running smoothly until I closed the hood. The passenger side MAF sensor plug got caught up on a screw and caused a short. Now my car won't start only the lights work. The push button let's me click all the way to on but only the fans start. Checked a few fuses but they seem to be good.
Need help on what else can I do and if someone knows how to repair this plug. I appreciate it

If all fuses are in fact intact, then one or more of those wires is probably still open or is shorted across another wire. It only takes one small strand to cause a short. The only sure fix would be to cut that connector off and re-pin it, or to buy a replacement harness. In order to repair, you'd have to identify the correct contacts, find a way to crimp the contacts onto the wire, and also get the right tool to pull the pins out of the connector. If you haven't done this sort of thing before, it'll be cheaper, easier, and less of a headache to just buy a new harness. That's what I'd suggest.
It's also possible you didn't check the right fuses, and there is in fact one that is blown. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

^ I'm going to buy the harness even though that's what I was trying to avoid money is tight and I F*** up. Going to try and recheck all fuses. Thanks do you know where I can find wiring diagram for this car.
