What did I do wrong?

I just changed out the headlights on my 06 G35 (Old ones were getting pretty faded) I swapped the ballasts and feel light I did everything right but when I hooked them up the passenger side high beam is dim. Everything else is fine, I swapped bulb just to be sure and it does the same thing. Anyone ever have this problem?

Swap ballasts and see if its still doing it. These are your original ballasts?

If it still happens, swap ignitors.

What type of low beams did you install? I installed 8000k low beams my high beams seemed dim. I figured out since l switched to 8000k it made the high beams seem yellow and dim. The low are so bright.the high seemed dim and yellow. Maybe you are experiencing the same as l did.

Double check your ground wire that connects to the lamp holder. Its just a sta-kon connector thats pretty flimsy.

I used 6000 replacement so I don't think it is weak voltage but my friend also told me to check ground wire since any interruption would cause it to dim. Just have to get the motivation to take it apart today to check. Will report my findings. Yes I used original ballasts and only one side is dim.
