That looks pretty brown. I'm betting it smells bad compared to the new fluid. You're doing the right thing, IMO, by performing a drain and fill.

Yea it smelled horrible im suprised tho i was expecting to find metal shavings but i guess my trannys in pretty good condition...114k miles with no fluid change. But i plan on doing another drain and fill in about 100 miles or am i good to go longer???

I would go more like 1,000 miles to let it blend in with the remaining old fluid.

I did mine after 2 more oil changes... Not worth the money.

Just wait until your next big interval of work.

i drain and fill mine every 30k miles (after the initial 60k or 90k.. i forget).. worked out fine for me so far
