well passenger side is missing...driver side is there but according to the mechanic that looked at the car he said its bad...
I would think if you're missing an axle that it wouldn't drive right? Pull heavily to one side on accel or the vsc or slip lights constantly coming on...? With the axle missing, wouldn't the vsc or slip lights come on because the wheel speed sensor is on the axle?

You would think that.....but no.
Another guy about 6 months ago was driving around in a G35x he bought for a few months before noticing a front axle was missing. No lights came on.
I could see if you drove around on dry pavement, this would happen. But i'm sure if you were to drive it in snow, lights would start coming on.
Either way....you have a nice big gaping hole into the transfer case. I'd say after putting a new axle in, i'd do a transfer case fluid change ASAP
