I saw that part just was not sure if it work on an AWD sedan...I know they have some different routing due to the transfer case... Isn't there supposed to be a ground wire on that portion of the exhaust? I guess mine had rusted off lol...should I replace it with a generic frame ground in that general area? or is it not needed?

Oh, I wasn't paying attention to your model. I'm not familiar with the X line. Not sure about a ground being there, but for the most part, a ground is a ground if you want to replace it. Probably isn't a necessity.

I had the same problem when I purchased my X in December, it turned out to be a rusted flange where the piping meets the muffler but it was so damn loud I thought it was a performance exhaust. Personally I think magnaflow is for trucks and classic cars but you can buy whatever makes you happy. I know this is a PIA because my muffler was dragging the road being held on by a thread and coat hanger. MY mechanic welded it for 20$
