No start - No Crank - except if engine is Cool??
Hey gang... help!! I replaced starter (remanu) and got a new battery. (old one was under warranty but I think it was fine). G won't turn over if car has been driven for 20 - 30 mins. Once it cools down - cranks right over?!! When no crank, I did a voltage drop test on starter post with other lead grounded on starter case. Attempted to start - no voltage change at all! Volt meter read 12.65V before turning ignition and 12.65V when turning ignition. How do I test the lead that comes from the ignition at the starter?? Everything lights up, no loss of voltage when attempting to crank at battery and post clamps. Engine has never died... just won't crank if driven for bit - takes 30 mins or more to cool down. Killing me!!! Please bail me out of a dealership trip!! Thank you, thank you!!

Nope. No crank at all. Everything lights up, hear fuel pressurize, everything seems great but then when turn ignition switch to start... nothing, nada, pure quietness. =(. Again, if car has been sitting for a few hours, it's good to go but if drive for 30mins or longer - turn off and then won't crank up. damndest thing!!
