The reasoning I've heard for the lack of such features is that the 6MT is meant to be a sport version while the AT is supposed to be more luxury. Not sure I buy it..

It's unfortunate to some degree, but after buying the 6mt yesterday, I think the trade-offs even out.

Automatic gets intelligent key, memory seats, rear hvac, etc.

6sp gets 18 more horsepower, sport tuned suspension

On paper, these trade-offs probably favor the manual transmission in terms of dollars. The sport tuned suspension package costs $750 extra on the auto tranny.

I have memory seat. My rear seats have hvac vents The only thing I do not like is that that shifting at high RPM's (greater than 5K), the sound is rather weedwacker like. And while on my coupe the ztube made the engine sound deeper at high rpms under load, the sedan has no difference. Hmmmm. Still love the 6mt. I've been practicing heel-toe down shifting. What I have found is that dress shoes slip, do not bend well and get caught sometimes. LOL.
