Well guys, I opted out.

Longtime Nissan/Infiniti guy (pathfinder, max, etc.)

Was really considering a G35 6MT until I decided to spend less money and get a 330.

Well, it's 25,500 loaded, and 30K miles. An '02, w/ the BMW 7year warrentee.

Tough for me to say if this is the right decision. If the cars were the same year, I'd be more satisfied.

Sorry guys, wish me luck, and enjoy your G's.

I just didn't like the interior of the 03, and 04 G35, and the 05 I wanted even w/ VPP was 32+.

Nothing wrong with that. In 3 years you can check out a M35/M45 that's been returned off lease. That'll be tempting.

Nothing to be sorry about. You selected a car that everyone has been looking up to for decades. Additionally, you settled in on a price point and stuck to it. I'm 37 years old, and I always chuckle when I hear people say "it's only $7-8K more, get the newer one." If you take of your BMW like I suspect you will, you'll have 150K miles of pure pleasure. Some people like to split hairs on these websites, but the flat out bottom line is that the G35, BMW 3-series, Acura TL, Mercedes C, and Lexus IS300 are all fantastic cars. Hell, the Nissan Maxima is a fantastic car.

Enjoy your ride and don't look back. Whether we make the right car decisions or not, God willing we'll have another shot at it in 5-7 years. Good luck.

good luck with your 330 (i was also looking at that along with the G) and maybe when you're in the market for a new ride, you'll reconsider infiniti. if not the G, then the M, perhaps.

Enjoy the Beemer bro, it's a great ride too.

When your circumstances change, and you need another change, maybe a G would work then.
