maybe incorrectly, that the G35 headlights were as easy to get out as the Maxima's headlights which are notorious for being a target for thieves. I work in a bad area which has had several Maxima headlight thefts and was curious if anyone had a similar experience with their G 35 headlights.

I don't think they're as easy to get as Maximas as I haven't read anywhere near the amount of "my lights got jacked" as I have from Maxima owners.

WHat do u mean by easy to take out??

I really don't see how they can take off ur bumper by either jacking up your car or have access to turning your wheelz.

Keep in mind THEY HAVE to take off the bumper unless they feel like cutting away ur bumper...

IMO, i highly doubt that stealing ur headlights is that possible

In my area the G's are rarely targeted, judging by the police reports in the paper, with Maximas and Audis being very popular. The Audi dealer's remote lot was decimated by headlight thieves. I hope they leave my G alone!

The Maxima headlights could be removed in a minute or so, since time is of the essence in crime, it was easy pickings. I was trying to determine if the G35 headlights could be also be removed in a short period of time.

There have been some G owners that have had their headlights stolen. You will see these pop-up on eBay every once in awhile with broken tabs.

The Maxima headlights were notorious for its flawed design. A quick screwdriver and a yank and the thief now has hundreds of dollars worth of equipment.

The G35 has a bit more security to it.

All in all any headlamp can be easily rip off from any vehicle if people eventually find out the weak points and its value.

As for E-bay, yes many are suspicious. However, most of them are legimate because they do derive from body shop owners. I for one know one and he has a body shop so I know what HID goes up for sell.
