Left turn signal not working
Left turn signal not working
Hello folks, I am looking into buying a g35 and had a question for you guys.
I test drove the car and it is in great condition but noticed the left turn signal on the inside did not always flash (turn on) but it seems to flash outside the vehicle. I made a few left turns and sometimes the light would flash inside but not always. The right turn signal works. As for the hazards, only right side flashes. Could it be the BCM?

What year?
My 06 does this every now and then, it's due to brittle solder joints on the cluster PCB. Easily fixed if you are willing to take the time to disassemble the cluster and know what you're doing with soldering. I do, just couldn't be bothered by it right now.

Guys, I successfully sent my dashboard to this guy on ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/183761869942?ul_noapp=true) seller name:ezelectronics201 , they are up in New Jerky/Jersey and they will resolder any loose pins on your dash, this includes gas gauge, turn signal indicators, Cruise lights, speedo, tach, etc.
There are a couple videos on how to remove the dashboard, you just send it up to them, and within 2-3 days they will have it back to you.
IMPORTANT- your call WILL start and run without the dashboard BUT it will eventually cut-off and NOT restart (I think it's a security feature). To take it from me, don't drive it down to the post office, then get stranded on the way home.

If you've already done the "hard" work of removing the cluster from the dashboard, is it really worth sending it off to have someone else do the "easy" work? Unless it's very cheap and worth having someone else do it rather than spend your own time. But still...
I hear ya. Look if you have a bench and are comfortable with taking apart your dashboard and soldering on a board and willing to take the risk of possibly F'ing it up, then yeah, go for it!!! But if you aren't, and want to leave it to an expert that does this every day and have done thousands, then I was just sharing with others that want to take advantage/benefit of this "fix".
I have no dog in the fight either way, just contributing for others on this forum to take advantage, if they so decide to do it, then good for them, if not, good luck!
