I like the G better with the badges on...especially the SKYLINE and 350GT badges

But it does look very clean...especially on black

Did you remove the badges with floss and Goo-Gone?

Hmm...I am not sure why people de-badge. I mean if your car is a Civic DX or like a BMW 318i (you get rid of the 318i wording) or something you might do it so you can fool people in thinking yours is not the no frill model. G35 is g35. It's either the coupe or sedan (plus or minus options). Anyone that knows car can tell it's a G35 from a few blocks away. Just my opinion but it looks nice with or without the badge. It's all good. Just giving my 2 cents.

I debadged mine because it is easier to wax. I also think it looks less busy. Nice job

Never could understand why people debadge. Personally I would avoid buying a resale that was debadged as it would imply, to me, images of repaints, modifications, tampering, ... all things I don't like even though I realize it may only have been flossed off for a "better look"

Never could understand why people have an issue with debadging or mods. Its not your car so whats the issue? This topic has come up soooo many times....to each their own. End of story.

Looking good, I'd suggest changing the reverse lights to the '05 (inexpensive mod). Keep up the good work....

Never said it was my car. Just giving an opinion-I don't know where you came up with the term "issue"

i think debadging makes it look kinda funny... it would definitely look better if the mt. fuji insignia was centered. that's just my opinion tho.. i agree that you should do whatever you want with your own car.

Funny, it takes less than 20 seconds to order a new set of badges from your local dealer... Very sweet I de-badged my 05 2 weeks after I got it. It cleans the rear of the car up. Benz, BMWs don't have thier anything sprawled over the trunk of the car..

iirc,,,Chrysler 300c have only the "wing" and 300c on the trunk lid........see, manufactures are noticing what is hip and incorporating it.........copy catters!

Yeah, I'm not fond of any trunk that has the letters written out hugely when they're right next to the symbol. Acura CL-S is this way, big a$$ A C U R A written across right next to the Acura symbol. Same with the G35. I've been meaning to remove mine, but haven't done it yet. I think it cleans it up hugely, looks sportier and more exotic. It looks somewhat cheap with these big letters sprawled across it.

Chrysler 300c example was GREAT by the way.
