Help !

Ok so i have a 2004 G35x Sedan. Everything was working fine up until i got home and let the car idling for like a minute to open the garage door..and the temprrature was half ways (normal) when all of a sudden it started climbing..almost getting to F before i pulled in and turned it off. I took off the radiator cap while hot. It spit out all the radiator liquids..once it cooled a bit i put in some coolant. Couple of hours later i took a drive to see if it would heat up...and no it drove fine , once i started slowing down and pulling into my drive way it starting heating up again. and leaked a little bit of water..not alot just a small puddle. what could it be ??? bad thermostat ? or cracked radiator ? Help Please

Your car's cooling system seems to be working fine when the motor is creating the most heat (when you are driving), so I'd say your thermostat is working fine.

When you are driving, your car is moving and air is flowing through your radiator just fine, so your cooling system is working. But when you stop, your car relies on the fans to bring in air, and since your car heats up only when you are stopped in the driveway, I would look into that first.

Let me guess, you also smoke cigarettes while pumping gas, no?
Watch out for an air pocket in the coolant system now. Burp it.
And fix your radiator fans, they're broke he's sayin ^

These engine are known for being difficult to bleed. I must have done it at least 4 times before it was working correctly.

I couldn't get mine to bleed completely using the bleed screw so I got a Lisle funnel. Worked like a charm.
