Grubbs aluminum pedals easy to install?

Curious if the Grubbs pedals are easy to install? I guess what I really mean to ask is when they're installed, are they TOTALLY stable or do they wobble around?

Thanks.

And to follow up, they actually replace the rubber pedals and aren't stick ons? I'm pretty sure of this, but I want to double check with someone who has them. Will probably be my first mod.

Yes they're easy to install. I did it in about 25 minutes the other day. Only hard part is the position you need to be in to get down under there. Just pry off the old rubber ones and the new ones fit on the same way they came off. Nice and tight, no slip.

I just used a moderate flat head screwdriver to get the pad lip over the pedal. Just get one of the ends started then run the screwdriver around it to get the rest of the lip over it.

The gas pedal goes on with a bushing and a clip. All pretty intuitive to do.

Do the factory pedals become destroyed as a result of removing them? I'd like to think that if for whatever reason if I don't like the Grubbs, I can always go back to stock.

Thanks.

6mt pedals are a bit harder being smaller and having 2 to pry on (brake & clutch). previous tips included using a hairdryer or soaking in warm water (caution for rust potential) to make them more pliable. Another was to use silicone spray or other lubricant.

Once on, no issues at all with moving around.

Factory pedals are fine, but I suppose you could put them on again. Taking them off is WAY easier than putting on, so they don't get destroyed taking off.

You will NEVER want to go back to stock.

Does anybody have a picture of it installed in their car? It looks pretty good on the Grubbs website but it's hard to tell what it "really" looks like once it is installed. Thanks.

Yeah, you won't want to go back either.

It can be for $21 more! They sell them separately from the 5AT set. I'm still deciding if I will get the set or not. Although it looks nice, seems kind of pricey for a few pieces of metal.

Everything G35 has a set that includes the e-brake for $73.50.

I have 6mt (handbrake), so I can't say for sure, but I've read that the parking brake is not a direct replacement. Some people have glued it on, screwed it on, and even cut away the factory rubber to get it to fit. Sounds pretty nasty, so read up on that first.

Located the install guide:

Also, attached a pic of Grubbs' auto install example.
