Best wheel paint and clear coat for matte?

I've got the small project of refinishing and painting some wheels I just purchased for my sedan. There's some nasty curb rash on two of the four but overall they were a steal for the price, and a little bondo goes a ways. I'm leaning towards matte black instead of gloss black currently. What brands have you used for matte wheel paints and matte clear coat? I've never cleared with a matte finishing before. I want the wheels to hold up to wheel cleaner and all the harsh chemicals necessary to pull off brake dust and so on.
I'm always open to color recommendations so post up your pics

I have the grill, headlights housing blacked out. Along with the lower trims being black from factory, so naturally, why not black wheels?

Yes I know, needs more low .

I just refinished a set of spare wheels I had using Duplicolor's wheel paints. They make a matte clear too.

Here are pics of what i did in the thread below.

And here are the steps I took.

Your wheels looks great!! Did sanding at 2000 and polishing make a big difference or did you skip that step since you went for a matte look?

I did paint gloss but I was staring at the matte clear at the store trying to decide if I wanted to do matte or not lol.

The main reason I did the 2000 wet sand and polish was cause of the surface texture. It was a lot more rough than I wanted. I'm not sure what would happen if you did the same with a matte. You definitely wouldn't want to wet sand and then leave it cause it would just look scuffed up.

Oh ok! What do you think of a gloss paint on a matte clear? Im looking to achieve more of a "flat" look that still has some sheen to it while avoiding that crazy "gloss" that black gives, let alone how hard gloss black wheels are to take of haha. I love how your wheels look, they aren't super bright and shiny but they still have a sheen, that's what I'm trying to achieve but with black instead.

TBH, I like the current finish of the wheels now. Unfortunate that they need to be refinished, but I'm not sure matte is the route I'd take. Matte wheels just look dirty to me.

Nice car though, I like those wheels a lot.
