Just wondering if anyone has tried the ikon motorsports coupe front lip on a 2005 RWD sedan. They advertise it for only the coupe only but one of the pictures online shows it on a 05 or 06 sedan bumper as well as the coupe bumper. Take a look and let me know if you have any input please.

I've seen that lip but the one on eBay is only 79$ lol After seeing your car I think I'll pay the extra money and get the Ionic. Your car looks really clean and I love those wheels. What are they and what suspension are you on?

 

Not sure what the materials and quality of the ebay one would be like. Ionic makes a great product with good materials as I am sure many on here will agree. It may cost a little more but it is worth it.

I tried searching for it again and they are now sold out!! I talked to Ikon and they said they were getting more in from there supplier in 4 to 8 weeks. I did some more searching and I found a place in China who sells it for 75$ shipped. It's the same lip as in the pictures I posted. I'll include the link. The quality isn't what I'm most concerned about. It's the same material as iconics OEM lip. I'm more concerned about the fit. I've done some measurements of the coupe nonsport bumper and my 05 sedan bumper and it seems like it would fit. The length is almost exactly the same, but I'm not positive on the radius itself. Correct me if I'm wrong but the pictures I posted show it on the coupe and the sedan. I've talked to a few of the company's selling it and none of them will confirm the fitment on the 05 Base sedan. On an end note I found a fellow g35 driver member who recently sold the same lip in the marketplace because it would not fit his G35 X. I've reached out to him to get more details on the fitment, but have heard back.

If it were me, I'd get the Ionic replica in a heartbeat over the other one. I had an OEM lip that was destroyed by a piece of retread I hit on the freeway and I didn't even look around to buy a replacement, just went straight to Ionic. Jose is a great guy and his level of quality of product and service are unmatched on the forum. I ordered one painted and the fit and paint match for my LS sedan were spot on.

A lot of times we get caught up in saving the almighty dollar but spending a little more for piece of mind is the right thing to do.

 

I added an eBay 2003-2004 Sedan front lip (EDIT: IT MAY ACTUALLY BE A COUPE FRONT LIP. I AM NOT 100% SURE BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT 2ND HAND) on my 2005 Sedan. Fitment is not 100% I had to stretch and pull and run 2 screws on each wheel well side and 4 screws up under bumper. The lip came with pre installed mounting tabs for the bottom under the bumper.
