Boot busted on my pass front axle. So i'm exploring my replacement options at the moment. I've normally use napa remans on my FWD cars and no issues but never did one on a AWD car. Napa locally doesn't have one in stock and AZ does.

Should i get "get in the zone" and pick one up.

They're probably made at the same place in China.

My pass side front axle was an Autozone reman. Put 10-20K miles on it no issue up until my driveshaft fell out.

Lol. Hey 3 months later it's still a running joke here at my office.

I loved that car, but I gotta admit it's pretty funny to say stuff like that

It's probably a remanufactured axle anyway so technically oem, I would get in the zone if I were you, my whip has been in the zone for a while, oem car parts are expensive

It's worth a shot. I put a RockAuto right front half-shaft in my car last year and it's already puking grease. Gonna try an AutoZone one next time.

Got it in...

Holy hell that Pass inner axle did not want to pop out for the life of me. I've done plenty of CV axles in the past but this one takes the cake. No room to pry because of those bolts around it, PS line in front of it.

Took me WAY too long to remove that axle.

Same experience here. You really don't have a good spot to put any leverage on it to pop it out. I pretty much had two screwdrivers in there pushing with all my might. Was about to give up when it finally popped out.

After that, took me 10 mins to get everything back together.

Pass side still looks easier than drivers side. You gotta crawl under there and unbolt 6 bolts to get that out.

While your under there..check that front driveshaft universal
