Recently on my 2003 g35, ive been having issues with it starting after being ran for a decent amount of distance. about 20-30 minutes. First few times it happened, it throw up some check engine codes for knock sensor, cam shaft and crank shaft sensors. I have then replaced all of them along with a wire harness for the knock sensor but the issue still persist. I put the key in ignition and go to start, dashboard lights up, a/c runs, radio works, go to crank and it goes to turn over and dies off killing the lights with it until i stop turning the key. Get a whiff of smoke from under the hood as well, cant tell quite where its coming from. Any help would be appreciated!

 

Most important issue for you would be to find out where the smoke is coming from. When you replaced cam/crank sensors did you go with OEM parts or aftermarket? A lot of people have had issue with aftermarket parts.

 

First thing I'd be checking is engine grounds.
