Rotten egg smell!

Why does it smell bad like rotten egg when I step on it? I have a 05’ G35. I’ve looked everywhere and many people have said different things. Many have said it can be the gas as in how much sulfur it has, the valve covers leaking oil, or my cats going bad.

That smell only indicates one thing, your cats are worn out! Magnaflow makes cats that are legal without buying cats from the "Stealership!"

Exactly as Gary said, only one thing can make that smell, cats about to die.

Fix it asap before they melt and leave you stuck on the side of the road. They typically don't last long at all once they start to fail like that. Also make sure you don't have an A/F problem, sometimes cats just die on their own but imo nearly all of them fail like what you're experiencing because they are getting too much unburned fuel dumped into them.
