Does it actually leak, or is the water dripping in when it's opened? That happens when all the water runs down the deck lid.

My 2003.5 5AT is leaking through the trunk - right in to the center of the spare wheel well. I'm gonna get it looked at on Monday. Hopefully it's just the gasket and replaceable under warranty.

New to the forum....I have two 2004 G35X, both with Sirius installed. They leak on the left side the minute it begins raining. Anybody else? Thanx ~

No haven't experienced it yet, but it's probably time to have your dealer change out that rubber seal around the trunk.

The G's trunklid is out of adjustment or the rubber seal is not seated properly. > an easy fix. (warranty)
I've heard of some similar issues, but not many.

I think I also have this problem. Had the car washed yesterday and then went grocery shopping. Opened the trunk for the groceries and the mat was definitely wet.

I'm making an appointment at my dealer for regular service and some creak/rattle issues, so I'll have it looked at then.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I just got an 06 MT sedan; and I have a leak in the trunk. It appears to be coming from around the passenger side tail light. It doesn't matter if the trunk is open of closed. The inside gets wet regardless. I'm going to contact the dealership and see what they say. I'm glad to know this seems to be a somewhat common issue.
