G35X Sedan
New owner

I'm a new G35 owner. Just scooped a 2005 sedan @ an ebay auction for a little over $2000. It's in pretty good condition all things considered. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone. I'm brand new to Infiniti, but not to Nissan, I loved my old Altima, that thing was a tank.

I actually wasn't even looking for one of these, they were never on my radar, but the price was too good to pass up. Now that I've dove into the specs and the culture around this car, I couldn't be happier. This community seems so cool. Love what you all are doing here. I'm an ex-detailer and have a few things planned for this car. Wheels, paint and a full exhaust are first on my list. Already got the sound system installed on the first day lol

I'll be posting progress pics as they happen. Have a fairly decent bankroll and am itching to get started, just need to make sure this car has good bones, I essentially bought it without being able to inspect it first, so I have to get it over to the shop.

Thanks for creating this forum, it's been really helpful.

How many miles on the odometer?

The body looks to be in beautiful condition, and you've got the mudguards as well. Not sure how I feel about the powder coated red calipers but beauty of a car for $2k!

150k miles. Body is in fair condition. Some bumps and bruises, but I'll likely smooth those out with filler before paint. Calipers were not me, I assumed they were stock, because there is really nothing else done to this car, but I guess not.

6 speed G35 sedan
Solid cars if the previous owner(s) did the maintenance required. Had very few issues with mine over the last 3+ years and 50k miles.

Yeah, red calipers were not an Infiniti option. Maybe they've been upgraded?

Here are your factory service manuals - thanks to NICO club:

Enjoy your new ride.

Nice find! I won my 04 sedan on eBay a couple years ago and decided to keep it. It's crazy how cheap these cars can sell for wholesale.

Hard to see from that angle but they look like twin piston HR brakes (07-08 up). That's the first thing I did to my 05' X
