Headers for 05x

Looking at getting headers for my x that fit. Currently have berk testpipes, megan ypipe mid and rear. Not looking to spend a crazy amount of cash but something thats not terrible quality.

You could use 07-08 G35 stock units. They are quite a bit better than the 03-06 manifolds. There are always ebay crackafolds haha the cheap stainless ones usually don't last long before they crack.

Headers provide such little gains a lot of us decided against using them because the cost wasn't worth the results.

Quick google search shows the difference. Seems like the way to go to get headers without the rasp.

Yes, the 07-08 stock manifolds are equal length tube headers and I believe they are stainless. The funny thing is that you can pick them up really cheap because nobody knows how nice they are compared to the old V35 units.

Got a buddy that could do the install, he drops the engine to do it, says it cuts the time to swap them in half. So it cuts the install cost in half.

If I remember correctly you will have to remove several mounting studs around to use the 07-08 headers. They have a different flange with a multi hole pattern. They are easy to pull since a star socket fits the tip of the exhaust studs.

I'll see if he's done that swap before, he specializes in G35/37 and 350/370Z vehicles. Did my Art Pipes in 45 minutes from the time he raised my car on the lift to when he brought it down.
