Loss of pressure after sitting and walbro pump installed
After having my stock fuel pump take a crap on me i figured id install a walbro
. After this ive been struggling with an extemded start issue. Ive replaced all orings and the hat as well as the fuel pressure regulator with factory parts but still have this extended start issue. Is this normal for walbro?
Long starts are also commonly caused by failing cam or crank sensors. I would scan for any hidden codes.
Did not mistake long starts for weak cranking. A failing starter can cause weak cranking.
Helps if you have another G to compare against, if not ask for a video and I'm sure someone will post a video of them cranking the engine so you can compare.

I finally fixed the issue! After struggling with this for a while and data monitoring the car was running very lean. The sender itself has a molded plastic piece that goes down into the filter assy. It had small cracks down it that was bleeding pressure off inside the tank! Im back to restored power and running and starting properly. A very frustrating issue for sure
