2005 G35 Sedan B-Pillar OUTSIDE molding part numbers?

I am having a real hard time finding
1 - the part numbers or which diagram would show the part numbers for the OUTSIDE gloss black B-Pillar moldings
2 - finding a video that shows how to remove them.

I'm looking for factory new ones rather than those vinyl stick on covers.....

Surely SOMEONE is reproducing these in the gloss black....right?

Oh yes if I find the part numbers or aftermarket provider I'll let everyone know here.

I too am thinking of going to junk yard, picking up a set and sanding them and painting them and add a high gloss clear coat with hardener. Just wanted an easy route, but not the vinyl....

real Carbon Fiber? not just a vinyl wrap that looks like CF?

if so do you have a link?
(UPDATE) easy enough to find...yes they are real CF, but still a stick on piece...definitely better than vinyl.

Not sure the MRS would like those though.

I'm not too familiar with the sedans, but would it not be the "division bar" in the parts diagram? Part numbers 82222-AL500 (right) and 82223-AL500 (left). It also seems to be a called a "rear door center sash". Doubtful you'll be able to order a new one.

Thanks...that helps in narrowing down the part...it looks like the "division bar" is the shorter vertical piece on the rear doors' window....separating the window the window that comes up/down and the stationary window.

I am having troubles finding a site that has all the parts diagrams...

That wasn't my impression of part #5. The diagram was from Body > Glass - rear door.

InfinitiPartsDeal.com parts support is a PIA.

I got the following message from them

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. The Parts Specialist reviewed your inquiry per VIN provided and provided the following information;

-The VIN is coming up as an international VIN. This means it shows as manufactured outside of the U.S. This is why our system is not decoding it. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with your inquiry and suggest consulting a local dealer for assistance

Sincerely,
Customer Service Department

Isn't that the nature of a car maker who is in Japan? All G35 Sedans were made in Japan....JFC

JNKCV51E25M###### is my VIN

I just checked only the Q60 is made in USA...WTF infinitipartsdeal?

That's a sad response. FYI, the diagram I was looking at was from infinitipartsonline. Also I think you meant the QX60 is made in the U.S. The Q60/Q50 are made in Japan, as were their G predecessors.

yeah that's what I meant

well went ahead and bought part 5 in this diagram though I can't find a good picture of the part....cheap enough that if it is not the right part that'll keep it.

I'd bet $20 that isn't the part, it's just a clip. Try this site and see if the diagrams are any better. I don't have time to look at it today.

I won't take that bet...you're probably right...way too cheap to be the part I'm looking for.

Getting REAL close to buying that stupid overlay with 3m tape.

I have a friend who owns a body shop, I'll get with him and see what his source is.

I got this response from a site part search

"
Good MorningI do not have access to the part numbers, they won't even pull up in the catalog. And I believe they are just tape.

Thank you!

I remembered seeing on a different diagram part #9 , labeled as tape.
but for the 2003-2006 G35 sedan it doesn't show up on the Exterior Door Trim blow out....I'm going to go to the junk yard tomorrow to see if they have any g35 sedans and see if I can see how they are removed and see if there is a part number on the underside.

it MAY indeed be just tape...so maybe the vinyl wrap way IS the way to go...
