Trunk release button in glove box broke please help

So i was fixing my stereo in my g35 and i had my glove box on the passenger seat floor and i moved the seat up and it broke the trunks cable release button and im tired of using the anti kidnap tab reaching thru the backseat and my pos key fob isnt workin after replacing 5 different batteries in it and still nothing,can someone please tell me a way to make the button work again

Sorry to hear of your multiple issues. I believe that trunk "cancel" switch in the glove box simply connects to ground when in the "ON" position. So if you connect those two wires to each other (probably Blue and Black?) then your regular trunk open button near the driver's left knee should work again. Let us know if it doesn't. Then we've gotta work on your fob prob...
