Brakes brake lights NOT WORKING

i have a 05 g35 sedan and ALL brake lights do not work when i step on the brakes. my " vdc " and " slip" light have been on for like 2 yrs but it never affected the cars performance. i checked my brake fluid its full. i HAVENT checked the fuses yet though...where are they located? just the other day the ' ABS " light came on by itself and thats when my brake lights didnt work at all. so i did some reading and saw something about the brake light switch by the brake pedal. i ordered it put it in and still doesnt work. ok g35 forum peeps could u tell me what are the other possibilites. i cant even drive my car cuz of this. ur feedback is greatly apprecitated....thanks everyone.

Fuse 20 in the cabin Fuse Block - J/B.

Probably blew the fuse due to some other reason like the trunk wire harness flexible section which is prone to breaking wires on the sedan.

It sounds like you have other problems ... but yeah, you want those brake lights to work. As cleric said; first check fuse #20 in the cabin fuseblock. That's the fuse block inside the car by the driver's left leg. It should resemble the illustration below.

The wiring harness he's talking about is where the wires travel through the rubber boot from your car's main body into your trunk lid. They get bent back and forth every time you open the trunk so they can eventually fray and either break or short. To check those you can pull the rubber boot away from one side or another and see if you can spot any problems.
