Smile 05 g35x Ecu and IPDM trouble solved

Hello:
I wanted to share my recent experience with my g35x electrical problems. My car started stalling immediately after starting and threw codes related to a camshaft sensor, I ordered a Hitachi sensor and replaced it and shortly thereafter the car would start and go into limp mode, no rpms higher than 2k and threw codes p1122 and p1128. I downloaded the service manuals and decided to replace the throttle body, while it was on its way I tested the wiring for shorts, none found. I replaced the throttle body and the same problem prevailed. I was never able to reset the ecu with the pedal dance method, but was able to do an Idle air volume relearn ONLY after clearing all ecu codes with an obd2 scan tool. At this point the car would run normally without engine codes until I was done driving it and let it cool down. After the car sat and cooled off it would immediately go back into limp mode upon starting and you would have to warm up the car and do Idle air volume relearn again to get it running normally. I decided to send my ecu module out to Module Experts for testing and repair, that turned out to be a scam. At this point I had read a post on this site about weird troubles caused by corrosion if the IPDM fuse box. I ordered a salvaged IPDM box and a used ECU on EBAY. I couldn't have ordered the correct ECU without the help I received from CLERIC670, his help was a godsend and saved me a lot of money. THANK YOU so Much CLERIC670. In the end the trouble was with the IPDM fuse box, it was a nightmare for me to get all the connectors off without breaking them. This IPDM fuse distribution box has circuit boards inside and is in a damp area, I still and never will figure out how it caused the ECU to forget the info it learned after the car cools off. Again I wanted to thank those here who helped me along.
Mark

Thanks for the followup Mark. Glad to hear you got your '05 back into reliable operation.
Cleric670 is in here saving everybody's a$$. There should be a "send money" button on his posts.

I need help wwith my 05 g35 I had the service engine light start flashing on my way home from band practice, so i pulled over and shut the car off, the ecm relay in the ipdm module was buzzing, so I pulled a different one and put it in that slot, nothing! the car turns over but its in safe mode where the security light stays on and the fans are running because I dont have any communication with the ecm, so I cant even reprogram my key or program a new ecm until I re-establish comms correct? How do I do that so I can use my nisscan software to fix these issues
p.s. I was able to do a nisscan locate ecu scan even though the software wont connect to the ecm and it gives me 5 modules that are active.
