2004 G35 Sedan Radio Volume Has One Setting
Hey all,
My 2004 G35 Sedan’s radio has been wonkin’ out lately. I have a 2004 G35 Sedan with the Bose audio package, and the amp is located in the upper left of the trunk behind the drivers seat, under the trim. My volume is stuck at one level, and the only other volume level is off, at 0. I can go through the entire range of volume and nothing changes, same with all of the settings in the radio itself, but it does beep at me. I swapped out the radio fuse under the hood, and nothing changed. At first I suspected that it was the head unit, but it also seems as it I may have blown the amp while playing a bass heavy song very loud. I have a video of the issue, and I’ll try to attach it soon. Any help identifying the issue would be greatly appreciated, and I’m hoping its not the head unit as you all have seen the cost of replacing those :P I’m thinking it’s going to end up being smartest to buy an amp for my phone and just use that for volume.
Thanks!

You can try bypassing the amp to see if u get any sound out of the head unit. This will tell u if the head unit is good or not.
