I went with the Stillen Single plus 05' coupe 'middy' and am pleased with the result (bang for the buck and ease of install) It cost about $300 for the end pipe and $180. for the 'middy' . I went w/the single pipe as most duals are for looks only and do nothing for performance while making the cleaning process harder
REVISED....Went for the Stillen X 'Cat-back' and not looking back. Did the swap begining of the Summer and the power gain (low to mid) worth the $'G' wiz !!!!!!.P.S. (It's not so quiet anymore! thank god!) UBCool, jbx

I noticed all the pics are screwed up, so here's a new one of the oem original mid-pipe (left), the coupe mid-pipe (right).
The shot under the car shows the mid-pipe removed. You can see the end of the y-pipe towards the front of the car, and the end of the muffler at the top of the photo.
Notice the small grey cross member (ditch it), and the silver heat shield behind it (bend it).
I was amazed at how heavy the original was.
FWIW, I have the coupe mid-pipe with HKS performance muffler - love it!

Yea, can someone please upload new, working sound-clips?
I was extremely excited to finally hear the difference between stock and coupe mid-pipes, but the sound files dont even work.
My car is too quiet (05 G35X) -- I dont want a loud obnoxious car, but I definately want it to sound just like an 05 coupe. EXACTLY like one.
Is this the way to do it?
