This topic has been discussed ad nauseum. A simple search would have given you your answer you were seeking.

And to answer your question, if you didn't do anything funny, your model car is covered under warranty for the brakes for 3 years or 36,000 miles. They will replace your pads and/or rotors free of charge if they are at or under the minimum spec. Good luck.

I'm not being rude. I just clearly pointed out that there is a search function, there is information out there, even hyperlinked a specific search, and I even posted the answer to his question. Hell, I even wished him good luck! If I just told him to do a search and nothing else to help him/her then that would be rude.

Are not brake pads considered "normal" maintenance parts and NOT covered under ANY warranty? Unless they are worn out in say less than 12K miles? Lord, I had a Chrysler Sebring Convertable that would just EAT brakes. The most I could get was 20K, most went out at 12 to 15K. Not a real big deal, you could replace the rotors/pads in about 20 minutes a side, it was just a PITA.

For the 2003 and 2004 non-Brembo models, Infiniti issued a letter to the owners stating that the OEM brake pads and rotors would be covered under warranty for 3 years or 36K miles, whichever comes first. Brake pads and/or rotors would be replaced free of charge in that time frame if they wore to or under the minimum specs. This was in response to owner complaints of 'unreasonable' rapid brake wear.
