Ok well i drove home and pulled into the garage and i smelt some Burnt Toast. i was thinking wow my mom really cant cook. but i went inside and she wasnt even home.. so i went back outside and realised that the smell was comming from under the hood, What could it be?

 

have you installed any new pipes when i installed my y-pipe it smelt bad for a couple of days

 

I have a 6mt, and when I push it over 5K RPM I get the same smell after I shut her down. I'm assuming it's just carbon burn off, coupled with the fact that I still only have 2500 miles on her and haven't had the oil changed yet.
