I got 23 on my first tank of gas, and 21 on my 2nd tank. I'm starting to hit the throttle a bit more so I can see why the drop in mpg.

But you guys are sooo right. Black is so hard to maintain. But after a nice rub down, the car is to die for. I get compliments from all of my friends at night. "Your car looks awesome." XD

That just puts a huge smile on my face.

My first oil and filter change was $40 total. I had a free loaner car (G35x).

My first oil change was $31 and change and free loaner car.
I didn't get my car wash b/c it was raining that day.

Hmm I thought oil changes are included for the first 2 yrs of ownership. At least it is here in Houston for the 05 models. The salesguy said free maintance for the first 2 yrs. Pls correct me if I am wrong. oh yeah I am new here, still haven't gotten my g coupe MT yet, still debating on the TL 6spd.

Sounds like you got a line of BS from your salesperson, unless that dealer offers the free maintenance, Infiniti doesn't!

Not missing much on the dealer wash job anyway, my dealer used to do a decent job, then they moved, the washes have been crap ever since, they just have a guy with a hose, and he sort of cleans it, I pass on it now!

The interior vacuuming is nice. I haven't found the washes to be bad, but after reading about detailing here, I may not have them do it anymore!

As noted by ABQ__G35, Infiniti does not offer free maint. A dealer could, but they may be telling a small untruth, as I don't recall others having this offer. Ask the salesperson to write it down.
