i was looking into buying an aero front bumper cover for my 04.5 sedan, but the aero bumper is 1000$, while the non aero is 180$. what is up with this? what is the difference, other than the way they look, between the different bumpers? is the aero just more expensive because they say so?
yeah i realize how much better it looks, but does it really cost that much more to make one? i just think that if they cost the same to make it's kinda ridiculous to charge 5 times more. i was thinking about buying one but not now, unless i find someone selling one for cheap
For $180 does the not aero bumper come painted? If not add on $300 - $500 to paint.
There is also supply and demand, there is probably less demand for the aero bumper
so the production cost will be higher. Cost average the cost to make a mold with the
number of bumpers made.

the non aero bumper (stock bumper) does not come painted.. and the aero one does...i think its worth the money...its better to get the whole 3 peice kit for only around 1900...better deal

I would definitly buy one if it was a little less expensive.
I think part of it is they want you to buy the whole kit.
