Loaner car + dealership experience

When I took my car in to get the scratch repaired that the dealer made, I recieved a loaner car. When I saw that the service guy was trying to give me an 04, I asked for an 05, he was somewhat rude about it, like I was hassling him. I was a bit pissed that he tried to give me an 04 when I saw two 05 loaners sitting right in front of us. Nothing wrong with the 04, but I was pissed that I was dropping off my 05 that the dealership damaged and he was trying to give me an older loaner car. Not a big deal, but its the principal. Anyone else have a similar experience?

That happened to me last week. When I dropped my 2003 off for service, I was given keys to an 04. I asked my service advisor, "Hey, I see a 2005 out there, why don't you put me in that?". His response was, "That car is not part of my teams loners, all of my 2005 are taken." Apparantly, certain cars are assigned to each service advisor. Oh well, no problem as I liked the 04 just fine.
