Thanks for the info. SO you ran 350Z springs and shocks right? just took some stock 350z suspension and bolted it up to the G... sounds cool. Thanks for all the feeback on the ride and handling. I definitely want the front a little lower than the back and my 20s are on order. Looking forward to the 1" front and .5" rear lowering.

Yes - 2005 350z springs and shocks. Bolted right up. I used Gsedan35's awesome instructions at https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ion#post278721 and also at http://www.g-owners.com/article_read.asp?id=12 as a guide.
I don't know about the life expectancy on the Z shocks. All I know is my old shocks had about 30k miles and the replacements had about 1.2k miles, so I should be good for a while.

Hey all...
I like keeping things "in the family" too...as in, using parts from the factory whenever possible.
However, on this topic of suspension...which springs to couple w/ what struts...why don't you consider aftermarket?
I know there are alot of inferior quality, cheaply made stuff out there...but, there are also quite a few really good products...only difference is: they COST MORE.
I totally believe in the "high end" true Japanese brands such as Tein, HKS, APEXi, Espelir, Tanabe for suspension. Also, Eibach and H&R are German manufacturers who've been in the business for a long, long time...and have proved their quality products. With just these 6 brands I've mentioned, you should be able to find the right springs for what you want in height, as well as stiffness.
Also, if you really don't mind spending a little more...Tein & HKS & APEXi also offer complete coil-over sets which allow you to adjust the ride-height exactly how you want it. Plus, those are all really good handling units! I have the Tein HA c/o's on my Miata...and, since the dampening is 16-way adjustable...I can set them to soft for everyday commutes, or turned pretty stiff for hard driving.

I have a 03 Sedan NON sport suspension do I just need the 350z springs to lower an 1 inch? And I have 20's all around will it rub? Or can I go with Eibach pro kit is there a difference with the pro kit and 350z springs?
