New owners - share your deal!
I purchased a new 2004, 6MT, carib blue, prem, nav, mats for $28.5k plus ttl, including 2.9% financing. the dealer made a point to make sure they told us that anything but excellent ratings on the survey was a "failure" (and the survey identifies your car, so it cannot easily be anonymous). Car's finish needed to be brought back for clay bar treatment as it was not silky smooth (same thing happened to my sister at this dealership who 2-3 weeks after me purchased a new M-35x.
I just purchased a 2005 Twilight Blue 6mt Sedan, premium, aero and splash for $300 over invoice.
I probably could have done a little better but there and no 6mt to be found in the Northeast.
My other option would have been ordering one and waiting 3 months and who knows if 2.9 would still be availabel. All considered, I am satisfied.

So I just ran through all the posts here and it looks like the average price paid over invoice is about $300. (This is excluding a couple of the ones with not enough info and one that I think is BS.) I imagine that as the launch of the '06 line approaches, dealers will be anxious to clear their floor space and cars will be going at or under invoice with attractive lease incentives.
I'm personally tracking the inventory of automatic diamond graphite/graphite with premium C in and around Southern Cal. Wow, there are lots in inventory! South Bay Infiniti (Torrance) has 10 of that model alone. They're going to check out my 2002 BMW 325i and see what I can get for a trade in. (Hoping to get out of the lease by paying it off 5 months early so I can get into a G.)

I've used in the past $300-400 over the invoice, and have had little problems (ie time,bs, &whatever) getting the car. Also I waited until late October to buy that years model. There was a dealer/manufacturer rebate of $1000 that wasn't advertised but edmunds told me about it. The sticker was about $35,300 and I payed $31,500. It takes time and some effort, but then again maybe your time and effort is being charged at a higher rate........

2005 Brilliant Silver, Premium B (Sunroof & Sport Suspension, Splash Gaurds, Trunk Mat and free wheel locks for 31,890.00 not including tax, fees and Destination Charge. I think it was about $600 under invoice comparing it with Edmunds.com.

How many miles did your car have when you bought it and also who was the sale rep you dealt with while there? Also did you drive off with the car or do you have to wait for a few months?
Thanks in advance.

Vodkarocket... I'm very interested in the deal you got. Assuming $1,500 of the $2,000 you paid went to cap cost reduction, this car still had to be about $1,500 below invoice for you to get that kind of monthly. Where's the catch? Is it an open-end lease? Hell, I'd drive to SF from LA for a deal like that.
I just picked up my 6MT with Premium Package, Aero and Nav. I also used the VPP from Nissan.
I paid, $34,280 which was $9 below invoice after all the VPP fees that get added in.
Can't complain since the local dealer is getting about $1,400 over invoice for most cars.

I've had my car for 7 weeks and 2 days. I was getting rid of an Avalanche, and trying to decide between a TL, Lexus IS300, BMW 325, Mercedes C230K, or a Chrysler 300C ( wanted the hemi ).
Then right after I decided on the G, something came up, and my vehicle budget was not-insignificantly reduced. I went to the local Infiniti dealership to look for a used g, when I saw on the floor an 04 with only 20 miles on it, with a sticker of just over 37. After some research ( we know a family member of lot guy ), we found out that they had had the car for almost 10 months. So we figured could get a deal.
The next day I went in again and haggled, and when I left, I ended up financing a total of right at 32k at 2.9% for 60. That includes tax and title, and the minor negative equity of my trade-in. I drove the car home without writing a check for a dime, my monthly payment went down around $30, insurance went up $4 a month, and gas mileage has improved from 15.5 in the truck to 18.9 in my g.
Overall, I though we got a pretty good deal. But now I'm pissed. I took the new car to the dealer yesterday for it's 3750 mile service ( we're averaging just a little over 500 miles a week right now ), which btw cost me $89. While there, I looked over some of the 05's. They had one 05 with the aero package (like mine), the sports suspension, premium package B, and the stick, with a sticker of just over 35. Not only is it a model year newer, but it has all the 05 tricks that my 04 does not ( better interior, remote key, etc ), plus the 18's with goodyears ( instead of my sorry turanzas on the plain alloy 6 spoke 17's), *and* it had the light-gray interior. My interior is that aweful black ( hey, I got what I could afford ), and that's just too ****** hot in Alabama summers.
If only I would have waited another 6 weeks! Yeah, I'm pissed at myself. But I still love my car.
