Re: Hydraulic Hood Lifters
I'm in under my hood every day tinkering, tuning, checking, modifying, and believe me I'm so P'd with that stupid rod. One of these days I'm gonna install those Hood lifters and rejoice.
My Max had them and they were great, but not on G

Saab uses hydraulic hood lifters that extends to the end of the hood to avoid bending it. This is what Infiniti should have done for the G.</p>

Re: Hydraulic Hood Lifters
Quite frankly, if they have to cut corners to get us a great car at a great price, I can deal with the hood rod. Before hydraulic hood lifters, I'd like to see memory mirrors, power lumbar support, rain-sensing wipers, a passenger seat with the same level of power controls as the driver seat, and a sportier automatic. Until I get those, hood lifters are way, way down on my "to gripe about" list.
