Where to buy new keyes and Remote

Do you guys know where to buy a new set of 2004 G35 keyes and key fob for the best price? My fiance gave me her spare set of keyes when she bought the car. Well, like a dumbass, I lost them. I just called the dealersjip and they want $250-300 for a new set(that price includes reprogramming the keyes)

I may be able to save myself some cash by following the instructions here: http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi...am_key_fob.htm

Thanks,

John

Spare key ?

Hey everyone,

Has anyone figured out where to buy a spare electronic key for a cheaper price than Infiniti ? They seem to be charging close to $200 for the key and "re-programming"

I checked on Ebay, and there don't seem to be any keys available for sale.

Thanks in advance.

What about a new keyfob cover? Do they even sell any, the black looks to plain, and cheap?

Let me know if you have heard of anything

I'd like to get a new cover for mine as well, the symbols are almost worn off! I don't know why they can't make them like the Intelligent Key fob on the '05, those look nice!

Sorry I can't help. Knowing they were expensive I negotiated an extra one when I bought my G.

I got a key for like $60 at Pinnacle Infiniti. Then I just had a local key shop guy program it. He normally would charge like $50 or something to program it. Still better than $300. Here's a link to their website: http://www.trademotion.com/storefron...utus&siteid=49 I don't know about the key fob, they are on ebay all the time for like $10-20 and simple to program.

I opened the website but I cannot find the key. Can you give me the part number, or the name of the key, or the categories of the key? Thanks

Good info everyone.. I'll be making a trip to the dealer for just the key only... got a quote from a sound/alarm shop for 50 to program the key fob.

I only have 1 key now (Yikes!)

I have 2 sets of keys but only 1 alarm piece.

Anyone has any idea how much it would be just for the 2nd set of alarm ?? Not a necessity, but if the price is right, will go for it.

Keyfob programming link

Programming a new keyfob is very easy: see http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi...am_key_fob.htm

I did it for two keyfobs (I have a 2003 G35 sedan).

I saw the item in Ebay for $15 as you mentioned...

Have a question, you buy this and it just starts working ....scary I think. Or is there something else that needs to be done ?
